Sam graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor’s degree in History, earning a First-Class Honours degree. During his secondary school years, Sam achieved 9 As in his GCSE exams (including English Language, English Literature, Science, History, Geography, and Spanish). At A-Level, he secured 3 As (in History, Politics, and English Literature) and an additional A* in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Sam has many years of tutoring experience and specialises in teaching History, English Literature and English Language (up to GCSE and A-Level). He is also highly skilled in preparing students for UCAT exams, independent school interviews, and 13+ to 16+ English entrance exams. Additionally, Sam offers tailored guidance for Oxbridge interview preparation.
Beyond his academic achievements, Sam has extensive experience in writing and editing. He served as the editor-in-chief of the Oxford Student Film Journal, the university’s only independent film magazine. These experiences have enriched his ability to guide students in writing and analysing literary works, blending practical expertise with a focus on exam objectives to help students enhance their writing skills and critical thinking.
